Raghav Garg is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 3.5 years of relevant experience in backend development, cloud and big data systems. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, New York, where he focused on Algorithms, Databases and Natural Language Processing. Currently, Raghav works as a Software Engineer at Tekion Corp, a Silicon Valley product startup that caters to the automotive retail sector. As part of the Developer Platform Team, he is responsible for building a low code platform that enables businesses and developers to build, configure, deploy, and/or host powerful apps and functionalities seamlessly. Raghav has a strong proficiency in Java, Python, MongoDB, SQL, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Redis and AWS. He has also worked with BERT, Docker, Javascript, and microservices. In his previous roles, Raghav worked as an Associate Software Engineer with Tekion's Digital Retail Platform (DRP) team and as a Software Developer Intern (Remote) at Mozilla, where he developed a full-stack social media platform to facilitate civilized engagement. He also added a feature to filter hate speech content with 2M data trained using Pytorch and BERT. The model achieved a recall accuracy of 85%. Raghav's education includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science Engineering from UPES and a High School degree in Science from Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur.
