Raghav Ramesh is an experienced engineering manager currently working at DoorDash, where he is leading the development of real-time systems and algorithms for logistics on a three-sided marketplace. He is also responsible for building Dasher and Merchant products that aim to digitize the local economy, as well as machine learning systems for supply/demand balancing and vehicle routing. Raghav has a strong background in software engineering and data science, having previously worked as a software engineer at DoorDash, where he developed AI systems for efficient routing and vehicle routing problem optimization. He also worked at Twitter as a data scientist and software engineer, where he developed and refined algorithms for topic extraction, trend detection, and relevance ranking for Trends, a hallmark Twitter product that drives conversation on the platform. He also focused on product analytics to understand new and resurrected users’ onboarding experience, which led to significant impact on user retention by modeling user behavior, characterizing user problems, identifying growth opportunities, and experimentation. Raghav holds a Master of Science degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar. He also completed his Class XII and Class X from DAV School, Gopalapuram, Chennai, and TVS Hr Sec School, Madurai, respectively.
