Raghava Bharati is an accomplished engineering leader with over 18 years of experience in building and scaling globally distributed engineering teams to develop products for internet marketplaces, FinTech, telecom R&D, and business productivity domains. He is currently an engineering leader at Google, where he is responsible for building and scaling Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Prior to joining Google, Raghava held leadership positions at Coinbase and Careem. At Coinbase, he led the growth engineering team, which was tasked with inviting the next 1 billion users into the crypto economy by building highly scalable products, platforms, and experiences. At Careem, Raghava was the head of engineering for front-end, responsible for all mobile apps and web experiences across different businesses in mobility, including ride-hailing, food, and groceries. Raghava is passionate about producing awesome consumer experiences by creating and nurturing seeds of deep tech and high-performance teams. He strongly believes in the power of communities in bringing about lasting changes and continuously strives to create a positive dent and legacy through his craft. Raghava is an experienced leader in both startup and enterprise structures, having led greenfield and brownfield engineering projects. Raghava holds an M.Tech in Computer Science from IIIT Bangalore and a B.Tech from JNTU. He is also a senior software engineer with expertise in web3, NFT, DeFi, GCP, frontend, mobile, and web technologies. With over 20 years of relevant experience, Raghava has proven his ability to innovate and leverage the power of technology to create and transform businesses.
