Currently working at Walmart, Raghavendra has held several positions in the company, including Engineer III - Development, where he was responsible for Development, Implementation & Unit Testing of re-architecture of the existing Sams Mexico Application using Dagger2, Data Binding, Android Architectural components, Data Security, Data Caching concepts, Retrofit, Realm Database, MVVM architecture. He also developed and implemented the entire Search & Browse flow in the Sams Mexico Application, as well as the Cart & Checkout flow. His improvements to the overall App performance, reduction of crash rate & tremendous improvement of User rating in the App Store were significant. He also implemented and developed Firebase features like Firebase Storage, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Messaging, Remote Config, AB testing, etc. Before joining Walmart, Raghavendra worked as a Software Development Engineer II at Ola, where he developed and implemented the Driver console as A2DP sink and let the consumer connect to the Bluetooth and play their music during trips. He also used AVRCP and A2DP Bluetooth support in the driver console to send remote control commands and get media metadata from the consumer phone for analytics purposes. Raghavendra holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Bangalore University. He also has a Pre-University degree from Canara College and completed his SSLC from Canara High School (Main). His tech stack includes Android, iOS, Integration, Mobile, Search, and Software Engineer.
