Prior to his current role, Raghu worked as a Data Scientist II at Meesho, where he was responsible for building real-time fraud detection engines. He also worked at Fractal Analytics as a Data Scientist, where he built and deployed a predictive model to rank millions of health insurance customers based on their risk of hospitalization in the near future. He used various clustering techniques to identify patterns and groupings of high-risk health insurance customers. Raghu also helped the company transition to cloud-based parallel computing platforms by converting existing SQL pipelines to Spark-based Databricks pipelines, thereby reducing downtimes to near 0%. He organized all the data sources to create a data store and standardized the data formats, access mechanisms, etc. for easy use across the company. Raghu holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar, where he graduated in 2019.
