Raghu M. is a Senior Software Engineer at CAST with over 7 years of relevant experience. He is a front-end agile geek with expertise in the latest front-end technologies and is moving towards full-stack development with a focus on Javascript. Raghu is highly knowledgeable in scalable and usable UI components and front-end architecture, with a solid understanding of React, Backbone, and Vue rendering theory. His technical skills include ES6, ES7, Node.js, Express, Async Generator, Event-loop, and advanced performance optimization techniques in JavaScript integration. He is also familiar with integration tools such as Jenkins and Docker. Raghu is great at working in a flexible Agile environment and is familiar with Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, TDD, and pair programming. He has a passion for new tech that can change the world. Currently, Raghu is a Principal Software Engineer at CAST, responsible for the development of highly-responsive, web-based user interfaces from scratch. He extensively uses JavaScript, React, Redux, Backbone, Node, Bootstrap, jQuery/AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3(LESS/SASS), Webpack, BABEL, ESLINT, and advanced Webpack techniques for performance optimization. Raghu is responsible for all aspects of frontend architecture and development, including business-focused trade-offs around technology, features, quality, and test strategy. He also works on an Agile (Scrum) Development Team to deliver regular updates to the business team and project managers. Raghu was also awarded the CAST innovator 2018. In the past, Raghu worked at MetricStream as an MTS and was responsible for front-end UI development with BackboneJs, UnderscoreJs, requireJs, Object oriented JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Less, Bootstrap, jquery, jqueryUI, Backgrid, JSON, Extjs, Handelbars, and MVC on web applications with an agile environment. He also worked on multiple side projects using ReactJS, ES6, and Webpack. Raghu has a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) from Ramaiah Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Computer Applications from Tumkur University, Tumkur.
