Raghvendra Singh is an experienced engineering leader with over ten years of progressive experience leading technical teams and deep involvement in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. He is currently the Founding Engineer at Harness, a stealth startup, where he is responsible for architecting and designing robust highly scalable distributed systems, gathering requirements, monitoring/instrumentation, resource/capacity/Disaster Recovery planning. Raghvendra has deep expertise in object-oriented/functional programming concepts, design patterns, and a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms. He has been among the initial engineers for startups and has worked for years to build and take complete end-to-end ownership of the very core distributed platform services for the product, which has been highly successful in achieving its goals. Prior to his current role, Raghvendra worked as a Principal Software Engineer at AppDynamics, where his primary responsibility was to build a highly scalable platform to handle and store a huge amount of data coming from thousands of nodes. He also built a highly efficient analyzing system around the huge data that was being persisted by the system and made it available for the user. Before AppDynamics, Raghvendra was a Senior Server Software Engineer at Terracotta, where he was one of the initial engineers who worked to build the core server platform for Terracotta's distributed architecture. He worked to design and develop the most fundamental services of the product with a great focus on a highly scalable and highly available design. He also led projects to completion for many projects, including the very basic frameworks for the product. Raghvendra holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from IIT. He is a software engineer with relevant experience of over 16.54 years.
