Ragul Jayakanthan is a proactive software engineer with a passion for solving real-world complex problems using his engineering skill set. He is currently working as a Software Consultant at CASA Retail AI, where he has been involved in multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity and tech stacks. Ragul is a full-stack developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, and NodeJS. He has also worked on test automation using the JEST framework, creating deployment pipelines in GoCD, and dockerizing apps. Ragul has had the opportunity to work on asynchronous data sync mechanisms, which involve Sidekiq queue. Prior to his current role, Ragul worked at CASA Retail AI as a Software Engineer Intern, where he paired with a senior developer and was involved in various phases of web app development. During this tenure, he worked on ReactJS and NodeJS, following clean code principles, TDD, and setting up pipelines for deployment. Ragul has also worked as a Software Engineer on five different projects for multiple clients. These projects include building a web-based order management system from scratch, an Android app for event registration and payment collection, a static web page for an event catalog, a multi-vendor ledger system built from scratch, and upgrading an existing OMS system with multiple features as a multi-vendor system. Ragul holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, where he graduated in 2021. He also completed his HSC from Jaycee Higher Secondary School in 2017 and his SSLC from the same school in 2003. Ragul's tech stack includes AI, software engineering, Ruby, SDET, test, NodeJS, ReactJS, and web. He has relevant experience of 2.26 years. Ragul is a problem solver who is always eager to learn and grow in his field.
