Rahat Bhambri is a Software Development Engineer at GoMechanic, with a focus on back-end development. He has over 2.86 years of experience in the software engineering industry, and his expertise lies in Python, Django, and MongoDB. At GoMechanic, Rahat has designed and deployed an end-to-end live order tracking system using Django-REST framework and MongoDB. This system is currently being used by the Spares application and retail agents app. He has also integrated a WhatsApp-based order updates feature using Apache Kafka and PyMongo to provide easy and instantaneous updates to clients. Additionally, he has created a Refer and Earn-based functionality for the Spares application using caching with Apache Redis and MongoDB. Rahat is also responsible for monitoring and resolving project API bugs using Sentry SDK and Postman, improving response time of APIs, and moving time-intensive calls to Google Cloud Platform. Prior to joining GoMechanic, Rahat worked at upGrad as a Software Development Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from Thapar University. He also has experience working with AWS, SQL, Javascript, Spring Boot, Spring, Microservices, Seaborn, test, Pandas, MySQL, Flask, GCP, Mobile, Web, and Electron.js.
