Rahil Momin is a highly skilled and experienced Co-Founder and CTO at PSTakeCare, responsible for the overall global infrastructure and efficient running of IT operations. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he has led the backend team focused on Ruby on Rails and Phoenix (Elixir) development, making software architecture design decisions and spearheading the development of real-time chat functionality using a software stack on Elixir (Phoenix) and Erlang (EJabberD). Rahil has also been responsible for handling DevOps, including deployment, server orchestration, provisioning, and monitoring on AWS, IBM cloud, Xen, and in-house servers. He has implemented CI/CD on software projects to increase the stability of the system and established multiple environments and processes of testing to ensure features don't break on production. Additionally, he integrated CRM with existing systems and built additional supplementary features to ensure efficient processing and tracking of leads and business output. Prior to his current role, Rahil worked as an Associate Software Engineer for the Mobile division at Quikr, where he implemented Quikr NXT Chat functionality on the app using the XMPP protocol and modified existing XMPP libraries on Android to provide custom functionality for cross-platform chat. He also worked at Mood Indigo IIT Bombay as a Core Group Member, Creatives, where he led and trained a 2-tier team of 100 volunteers to handle the web, design, and publicity. Rahil holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, which he completed in 2014. He is proficient in various tech stacks, including Android, AWS, Ruby, CI/CD, P2P, test, DevOps, Frontend, Backend, infra, Mobile, and Web. Throughout his career, he has trained and mentored various teams of young people, including Frontend and Android.
