Rahool Paliwal is a Senior System Software Engineer at NVIDIA with a passion for automation and DevOps. With 9.12 years of relevant experience, he has honed his skills in software engineering, AI, AWS, and CI/CD. In his current role at NVIDIA, Rahool is responsible for enabling multiplatform AI-powered intelligent video analytics apps and services on edge and cloud. He has hands-on experience with enabling CI/CD for AI streaming SDKs like DeepStreamSDK and develops and maintains Pybinding for DeepstreamSDK. Prior to his current position, Rahool worked as a System Software Engineer at NVIDIA, where he was part of the Tegra’s L4T-MM (Linux for Tegra Multimedia) team. He has ported Samsung’s Tizen operating system for Nvidia’s Tegra platform and worked extensively on Gst-openmax plugins and gstreamer applications for playback and capture. He initiated, designed, and implemented PulseAudio support for L4T and added a lot of new features to gstreamer playback and capture applications. Rahool has also worked as a DevOps Engineer at FINRA, where he used his expertise in DevOps products/solutions to help with tool adoption and best practices. He created and managed AWS infrastructure for Application Development teams and developed in-house tools/wrappers over existing AWS products and open source tools such as Jenkins to provide abstraction and extra features. He conducted bootcamps and training and provided oversight for deployments and infrastructure for 15+ applications at FINRA. Rahool holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a B Tech in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune. He also has a HSSC degree in General Stream from Shivaji Science College, Nagpur, and a SSC degree with 17th Merit and 91.73% from Model High School. Rahool’s tech stack includes software engineering, DevOps, AI, AWS, CI/CD, infrastructure, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and integration. He is a DevOps enthusiast and is passionate about automation.
