Rahul Abrol is a seasoned Software Engineer Level 2 at Priceline with around 7 years of experience in the software industry. He has a strong background in design, development, testing, and submission of Android mobile applications. Rahul has extensive knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts and Java, and he is proficient in working with Google Android OS, Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android Framework. Rahul has a proven track record of developing multithreaded applications for Android Operating system using Android Studio, Eclipse IDE, SQLite, Java, XML, JSON, MailChimp, RESTful, XML, SOAP Web services, and Android SDK. He is also an expert in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers in MySQL, Oracle, PL/SQL. Rahul has a passion for building beautiful Material UI’s in previously shipped Android applications. Rahul has worked on more than 10 android applications, out of which 70% have been published in Google Play Store. Currently, Rahul is working on building some experimental features in Priceline application related to hotel listings. He has also contributed to the migration of DI framework Dagger2 to Hilt and migrated Priceline android application from Junit4 to Junit5. In the past, Rahul has worked as a Teacher on his YouTube Channel and has shared his knowledge with the world. He has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Toppr, where he was responsible for maintaining, debugging, profiling code till release. Rahul has a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Chandigarh Group of Colleges, where he focused on Android Development.
