Rahul Agarwal is a Software Engineer III currently working at Walmart in the EDF (Event Driven Fulfillment) Team under the Replenishment Pillar. He is a skilled Java developer with experience in designing and coding systems that are easy to maintain and grow. He is proficient in both relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL and MongoDB. Rahul has over 5 years of relevant experience in the software development industry. Prior to joining Walmart, he worked as a Software Development Engineer at Tila where he designed and developed the Calendar Service and Inventory Service from scratch for scaling. He also worked on the Category Account Terminal and Purchase Order Service used by the Business and Category Team. Rahul refractored the whole beta-service, which provides quick and easy development time for new integration. Before Tila, Rahul worked as a Full Stack Software Developer at Myanatomy where he worked on The Mapit platform (Online Assessment Platform). He integrated new features and worked to scale and improve the system. Rahul developed from scratch the single sign-on system for the company's different platforms for students and recruiters. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology. He also has a background in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from Bishop Conrad Senior Secondary School. Rahul is experienced in various technologies such as Spark, Spring, Integration, and UI.
