Rahul Baburajan is a Deep Learning Researcher with a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Aberdeen and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has a demonstrated history of research in computer vision, natural language processing, computational photography, and deep learning. Rahul has strong coding experience in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Currently working as an Artificial Intelligence Consultant for Salus Technical, Rahul is leading the development of a cutting-edge tool to streamline the Hazop creation process. The Hazop copilot tool uses large language models like GPT-3, as well as rule-based systems like knowledge graphs, to provide high-performance and predictive modeling capabilities. Through this innovative approach, Rahul aims to enhance safety and mitigate potential hazards in industrial processes. Previously, Rahul worked as a Machine Learning Scientist at Agara, a startup focused on improving customer service experience using NLP and audio processing using deep learning. He has also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Aberdeen, where he developed NLP solutions for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. His work included building a dashboard that utilizes topic modeling, summarization, and question-answering systems to analyze news data from various sources and extract valuable intelligence from around the world. Rahul has also worked as a Project Assistant at the Video Analytics Lab, where he delved into the optimization landscape of GANs. His work focused on the theoretical and empirical understanding of gradient clipping in GANs, a promising technique for improving the training of deep neural networks.
