Rahul Chaki is a highly experienced Principal Engineer and Co-Founder at Joveo, with over 11 years of experience in building exceptional products and teams from scratch. He has a proven track record of designing and implementing highly scalable web and analytics applications that can handle massive amounts of data. Rahul has a deep understanding of various distributed systems, big data platforms, NoSQL databases (OLTP/OLAP), and distributed computing frameworks. He has also developed an in-memory Write-Once-Read-Many columnar cache for OLAP. At Joveo, Rahul is leading the development of the first truly programmatic recruitment advertising platform that is simple, transparent, and easy to use. The platform harnesses machine learning to connect clients with the right candidates for the right roles, faster and more efficiently than ever before. Prior to Joveo, Rahul worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer II, where he was responsible for expanding the number of pickup stores present in Europe, China, and other regions. He was also involved in streamlining the process of adding new stores. Rahul was also part of the founding team at Mobolt, which was later acquired by Indeed.com. At Mobolt, Rahul designed and implemented a framework to facilitate quick development of robust backend code for each company. He also added new clients and ensured smooth integration with the frontend via REST, control over the load, and reporting. Rahul holds a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and completed his education in 2011. He also attended Modern Vidya Niketan, Sec-17, Faridabad. Rahul's tech stack includes Big Data, ML, NoSQL, Web, Software Engineering, Mobile, Java, Spark, test, Integration, Frontend, Backend, and Scala.
