Rahul Dev is a dynamic and versatile Front-end Developer with a passion for web development and continuous learning. He has 1.9 years of experience in front-end development and is proficient in Next.JS, React JS, Firebase APIs, GraphQl, Redux Toolkit, JavaScript, REST API integrations, and Strapi. Rahul is familiar with HTML5, CSS, BootStrap, Material UI, jQuery, debugging, and reverse-engineering legacy code. Prior to his career in web development, Rahul worked as a Production Head for over five years in a startup in Mangalore, India. During his time there, he collaborated with his team to integrate automation into the workflow, leading to a 2x growth of the company in the first three years. Rahul was promoted to Team Lead within six months of joining the company and managed a young team of over 15 members. His responsibilities included training the team, holding meetings with clients in the UK, being creative, suggesting new ideas for automation, leading project planning sessions, monitoring performance, analyzing quality and productivity of the team, managing relationships with clients, team building, and hiring new employees. Currently, Rahul is working as a Frontend Developer at capgrid, where he is single-handedly managing the entire front-end with two experienced back-end developers. He has built the entire internal dashboard application from scratch using React JS, Redux Toolkit, GraphQL, Material UI, TypeScript, and Bootstrap. Rahul is also handling three projects using React JS and Next JS and has worked on complex features like comment sections, uploading and updating files live, filters, and search (using debounce), and various NPM packages. He is consistently working on code optimizations using dynamic imports and avoiding unwanted re-renders and is using components to reuse the code. Rahul has also worked as a Frontend Developer at Tutorbin, where he worked on existing legacy code, converted the main website to Next JS, designed schemas on Strapi, and integrated REST API’s on the website.
