Rahul Dhawan is a Senior Security Engineer at Postman with over 3 years of relevant experience in the IT sector. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from SRM University and has completed his 12th from Guru Nanak Khalsa School, Chandigarh, and 10th from St. Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh. Rahul is a skilled IT professional with expertise in Test, Infra, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, SDET, Kubernetes, and Web. Rahul has contributed to The Metasploit Project in the Google Summer of Code 2018 program and has also completed an internship in Lucideus to enhance his IT skills in the field of cyber-security. He has developed a full-stack official WEclub website using PHP, Javascript, MySQL, HTML5, and Bootstrap, which makes it simple for users to register for upcoming events. Rahul is also a founding member of WEclub, which aims to encourage and develop the entrepreneurial spirit and guide the entrepreneur mind who has begun their journey as an entrepreneur. In his previous role as an SDET/Automation Engineer Intern at Hashedin, Rahul worked on a major project in Cohesity as an Automation Engineer, where he developed an automation script that performs infrastructure testing on apps deployed in Kubernetes Infrastructure. He also managed the Haswell Cluster allocated to his team for development and testing purposes. At Myntra Design, Rahul worked on a project as an Automation Engineer, where he wrote the foundation code for SOP automation from scratch to reduce hours of manual work carried out by the team.
