Rahul G D is an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for product design and development. He is currently working at Bosch Global Software Technologies where he has gained extensive experience in designing and developing products with a detail-oriented process. Rahul has a strong understanding of DFM and DFA principles and generates innovative ideas and concepts using Lean and Innovation-TRIZ principles. He has also been exposed to work environments like CNC Machining tools, Rapid Prototyping, and Sheet Metal bending operations. Rahul is skilled in 3D CAD-modeling using software such as Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, CATIA, UG-NX, CREO Parametric, and SOLIDWORKS. He has handled all his academic course projects with passion and a result-oriented mindset to achieve his goals. Rahul has been a national finalist in Smart India Hackathon (Hardware Edition) and Launchpad (B-Plan competition), Intaglio - An International Business Summit, IIM CALCUTTA. Before joining Bosch, Rahul has worked with Dream2Seam Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Flame Tao Knoware Pvt Ltd as a Mechanical Design Engineer. At Dream2Seam, he designed jigs and fixtures for Automatic Sewing machines and developed solutions in the apparel sector using Problem Formulator, IWB, and I-TRIZ principles. At Flame Tao Knoware, Rahul developed concepts and designs to automate the entire sewing line and designed jigs and fixtures for Automatic Sewing machines. Rahul completed his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from KLE Technological University in 2019. He also holds a Pre-University degree in Science from Sir M V Pre-University College, Karnataka, and completed his schooling from Lourdes Boys' School. Rahul's tech stack includes product design, and he has relevant experience of 3.69 years.
