Rahul Gaikwad is an experienced AWS Evangelist and Data Engineer with more than 8 years of professional experience in the IT industry. He is proficient in designing data-intensive applications using AWS Ecosystem, Data Pipeline, ETL, Cloud Data Engineering, Data Warehouse/Data Mart, Data Visualization, Reporting, and Data Quality solutions. Rahul has a strong track record of building AWS Datalake and data pipelines using services such as AWS Glue, Kinesis, Athena, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, Cognito, Cloudwatch, and S3. Rahul is well-versed in implementing Organization DevOps strategy in various operating environments of Linux and Windows servers along with cloud strategies of Amazon Web Services. He has practical exposure to CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) tools like Jenkins, Azure Pipeline to merge development with testing through pipelines. He is also experienced in version control and source code management tools like GIT and BitBucket. With a degree in Information Technology from Rajeev Gandhi Technical University, Rahul has gained exposure at a professional level with PHP and its MVC frameworks like Codeigniter and Laravel. He also has knowledge of Linux stack components (Linux OS, DNS, SMTP, Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat, MySQL) and corresponding core Microsoft OS stack components (i.e. Windows Server OS, Active Directory, IIS, MSSQL). Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra, Rahul has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Systematix and Genuine Soft Technologies (an ISO certified company).
