Rahul Garg is a Lead Engineer at EDJX with over 9 years of relevant experience in the software development industry. He is an expert in designing and implementing microservices and web applications, with knowledge of the entire software development life cycle. Rahul has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from HCTM Technical Campus Kaithal and completed his Senior Secondary education from Delhi Public School - Rohtak. In his current role, Rahul is responsible for defining requirements and proposing architectural design features such as IAM, Certificate Authority, CDN, Object Storage, and DNS end-to-end. He gathers requirements through business team interaction, analyzes them, and provides the best possible solution, performing BPMN flow modifications according to business requirements. Rahul instigates software solutions by examining information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. He also prepares functional specifications and low-level design documents. Rahul is an expert in documenting software solutions through flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. He designs detailed technical components by exercising high-level architecture, design patterns, and reusable code, considering real-time constraints. Rahul undertakes defect management and impact analysis of change requests. He plans and organizes Scrum meetings, facilitates sprint planning and review meetings, sprint retrospective meetings, sprint backlog, story estimation, daily stand-ups, iteration and release planning, and reviews. Rahul establishes best practices to help the team and drives adoption of these best practices around coding, design, quality, and performance. He works on new and relevant technologies and tools, and leads adoption of the same. Rahul scopes technical solutions to meet the immediate needs and ensures technical expectations of deliverables are met. He designs and writes automated functional and unit tests, supports developers in troubleshooting system issues along with monitoring system-level integration. Rahul has worked with Monotype as an Associate Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. In these roles, he proposed architectural design of microservices, created common libraries to be used in all microservices, and spearheaded code construction, framework implementation, and expansion. Rahul developed and implemented microservices/web applications and gathered requirements through client interaction. He also analyzed them to understand requests/needs and provided the best possible solution, performing BPMN flow modifications according to business requirements.
