Rahul Gupta is an experienced Senior Software Engineer who specializes in working with front-end web technologies. He has an in-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript and has hands-on experience with the front-end ecosystem, including React, Angular JS, Webpack, and Search Engine Optimization. He has a passion for user interfaces and performance and continuously strives to provide the best user experience for the users. Currently, Rahul is working at Atlassian as a Software Development Engineer 2, where he is driving performance, cross-platform, and customer empathy tracks for the Marketplace team. He is responsible for building a plan for adopting a performance culture within the marketplace, integrating Marketplace as an embedded NPM package within Confluence, and driving the customer empathy track. Rahul also leads initiatives like adopting React Testing Library (RTL) within the team and setting standards for best practices. Before joining Atlassian, Rahul worked at Practo, where he was responsible for building and maintaining the front-end web application for Practo Consult. He migrated the traditional AngularJS/Symfony stack to the React/Node ecosystem from the ground up and released Scheduled consults as a part of promoting Consult during COVID-19. Rahul also redesigned the Consult Homepage, as part of Practo's rebranding and integrated Google AdSense as part of monetizing Consult's high traffic pages. He was responsible for releasing Consult for the international audience. Rahul also worked at Clumio, where he led the UI team for the Mssql Project and built it from the ground up. He introduced internationalization (i18n) support for the component library and integrated REST Discovery API to be consumed by UI at the build time. Rahul's responsibilities include coordinating with the UX team, proposing the API spec, along with mentoring, code reviews, and taking interviews. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from VIT University, Vellore. He completed his High School education from D.A.V Model School, Abohar. Rahul's relevant experience is 7.20 years, and his tech stack includes Software Engineer, UI, Frontend, Web, MSSQL, Test, AngularJS, Javascript, Search, Typescript, and Redux.
