Rahul Joshi is a Senior Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the industry. He graduated from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, with a major in Computer Science and Engineering. Currently, he is working at LSEG as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, where he is involved in the design and development of Big Data Appliance (BDA) and BDSQL. Prior to this, Rahul has worked with Qualcomm for 8 years, where he was a Software Engineer and an Associate Software Engineer. At Qualcomm, he was a part of the Multimode Modem Software team, where he worked on the design and development of Qualcomm MSM Interface (QMI), which is the primary intermediary between the HLOS and the core modem. Rahul has an expertise in working on the design and development of a module, developing web services, applications, and has a niche for entrepreneurship, having tried and ran two bootstrapped ventures. He is constantly looking to develop his web development skills, both back-end and front-end, and is interested in working in a start-up environment. Rahul's experience includes working in the field of Voice Calls on UMTS, GSM, 1x, LTE, and constantly adding new features. He has developed an extensive test suite for QMI layer, which helps to maintain the integrity of the code in case of any new fix. Rahul has received the Qualstar award for exceptional contribution within 6 months of joining Qualcomm. Rahul's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, and he attended Army Public School, Pune, for his schooling. He has a strong tech stack, including software engineering, testing, web development, big data, front-end, and back-end development.
