Rahul Kumar is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for exploring the latest technologies in the field of autonomous driving. He is currently working at smartmicro as a Software Engineer specializing in Tracking and Sensor Fusion. Rahul has extensive experience in developing and deploying sensor fusion modules for multiple radar and camera sensors using ROS (Robot Operating System) for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Prior to joining smartmicro, Rahul worked as a Radar Systems Engineer at Cell Propulsion Pvt. Ltd. and as a member of the R&D Department in the Engine ECU Hardware Team at Denso International India Pvt. Ltd. Rahul has a strong background in Antenna Theory and Radar Systems, as well as a deep understanding of programming languages including C, C++, and Python. Rahul is enthusiastic about exploring new technologies and has a keen interest in Sensor Fusion, Cognitive Radars, Machine Learning & AI, Deep Learning, and Neural Networks. He has also worked as a Radar Algorithm Developer and Perception Algorithm Developer at Aptiv and Continental, respectively, where he worked on Sensor Fusion of Multiple Radars and Camera sensors for ADAS applications. Rahul has also worked on Long Range Road Boundary Estimation using Radar and Development and Debugging of Radar Alignment Algorithms for ADAS applications. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Thapar University. He is well-versed in various tech stacks, including Object Detection, AI, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, ML, Python, AWS, Hyperparameter, OpenCV, and TensorFlow. With almost five years of relevant experience, Rahul is a highly motivated and skilled professional who is always eager to learn and grow in his field.
