Rahul Kumar is a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with a passion for building new things from scratch. He has a diverse range of experience, including Java, Javascript, Nodejs, Golang, Kafka, Big Data Systems, AWS, Desktop and mobile cross-platform and native applications (Android, Windows app), and Embedded Robotic Systems. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Slice, Rahul has been a part of the Data Services EventHub team, where he has developed the new release of Client SDK. He has extensively worked on Java Client SDK and Golang service, making new releases with major vulnerability and bugfix. Rahul has also implemented new features and opened more API's as per client needs. He has also worked on Dockerization of the service. Prior to this, Rahul worked as a Software Development Specialist at General Electric, where he worked in the Data Services team. He has extensive experience in two services, a Kafka based publish-subscribe platform built to be secure, highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and language agnostic used for a huge volume of data transfer and a Cassandra data store for storing time-based data sets and retrieving them when needed. Rahul has worked extensively in both teams, making new releases with major vulnerability and bugfix. He has also implemented new features and opened more API's as per client needs. Rahul has also worked on Dockerization of the service. Rahul has completed his Engineer's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He also holds a CBSE class 12 degree in Science and Technology with Computer Science from Delhi Public School, Bokaro Steel City.
