Rahul Kumar is a Lead Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. He currently works as an Associate Tech Lead at John Deere, where he is responsible for delivering a Data Conversion project that enables customers to transfer data from Deere systems to other third-party systems. In his previous role as a Senior Engineer at John Deere, Rahul developed an application to export Agronomic data from Deere systems to other systems collected through Deere machines. He wrote RESTful APIs for the data transfer and optimized the evolving backend to support it. Rahul also worked on building the UI stack needed for the data transfer with minimal user interactions using web sockets, NodeJs, React, and Redux. Before that, Rahul worked as a Software Engineer at John Deere, where he wrote RESTful APIs to get agronomic data from highly scalable databases in AWS for responsive web-applications. He used Jenkins to create a pipeline for the app to be deployed in stages to Production and wrote front-end end-to-end tests using the Cypress Framework. Rahul is proficient in technologies such as Spring Boot, Webpack, Babel, React, Redux, Javascript, Mocha, Cypress, and more. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from the Army Institute of Technology. He is a software developer who is constantly striving to become a better human.
