Rahul Madaan is a Software Engineer at NatWest Group with a passion for data analytics, machine learning, data-driven cybersecurity, vulnerabilities in the system, and embedded logic design. He has 1.78 years of relevant experience in the industry and is well-versed in a range of technologies, including Python, CI/CD, ML, and Microservices. Rahul's current role at NatWest involves working with the GBP Python Team to develop an end-to-end CI/CD pipeline for Python microservice architecture. He has also been involved in the productionization of the OWASP Dependency Checker tool to use in the organization by developers following the log4j vulnerability issue. Prior to his current role, Rahul worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Human-Machine Interaction, where he worked on a project titled 'Effect of Polite Triggers in Chatbot Conversations on User Experience across Gender, Age, and Personality.' The research paper for this project was accepted in IEEE RO-MAN (2021). He also worked as a Research Intern at Centre de Sciences Humaines, where he worked on a chatbot of Indian Prime Ministers and Politicians through the collection of pre-existing verbal data, training it, and analyzing how each of them responds to a series of questions. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IIIT Delhi and completed his Intermediate education in PCM with Computer Science from Darbari Lal D.A.V.
