Rahul Mahato is a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Javascript environments and libraries. He is passionate about building responsive and user-friendly websites and applications with good design and clean code. Currently, he works as a Software Development Engineer at Housing. Rahul has extensive experience in building Full stack Websites and Hybrid Apps from scratch using React and React-Native with NodeJs server. He has also worked on AWS Lambda functions with NodeJs and DynamoDb for ticketing service SDK and a Dashboard. His work involved creating a permissions & settings based configuration system that allows admins to enable/disable these settings/permissions for individual property or users, customising email templates, and themes for the SDK. He has also developed a Redux CLI tool to reduce the boilerplate of redux with the same structure followed by the company and built a reusable component library for better code reusability. Previously, Rahul worked as a Software Engineer at Hornblower Cruises and Events where he contributed to the development of React and AWS Lambda functions with NodeJs and DynamoDb. He also created a reusable component library and moved all the shared components into that for better code reusability. As a Software Engineer Intern at Geekyants, he developed Web and Mobile applications using React and React Native library from scratch. He fixed issues with line number mapping in stack traces (fixes #259) Vue-Native and enhanced the performance of a Voice Room Chat App built on react-native and made it scalable for 2000+ users, using the same room. He also added advanced features and enhancements like integrating Video Calls, Feeds, Media, etc on the same voice room chat app and abstracted the voice channel inside a community. Rahul holds a BTech in Computer Science from KIIT University and completed his Higher Secondary education from Abhinav Bharati High School.
