Rahul's past experiences include working with Red Hat as a Digital Analytics professional, where he helped the company build its developer community by working with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand data using analytics and machine learning. He was also responsible for working on tools like R, Postgres SQL, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, and Eloqua. At Synacor, Rahul worked as a Data Scientist for Ad Monetization, where he was part of the search and advertising team. He optimized monetization for the online programmatic advertising business using machine learning and worked on extremely large datasets to solve data science problems. Rahul also started the project from scratch and worked closely with the VP of Data Science in developing the business case. He used tools like R, Python, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau, H2O, and Google Analytics. Rahul's education background includes a Master of Science in Business Analytics and Project Management from the University of Connecticut, a B.Sc in Computer Science from Delhi University, and an MBA from NIILM Center for Management Studies.
