Rahul Meka is a seasoned Senior Software AI Engineer with 5.70 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, he is working with Gupshup, where he is responsible for developing Artificial Intelligence applications using Microsoft Bot Framework, LUIS, Microsoft Cognitive Services, and Azure. In his previous role as a Tech Lead - ML at Zycus, Rahul was responsible for leading the development of ML-based solutions. He has also worked as an NLP Developer at Wipro, where he worked on multiple projects, including AI in people's process, ToneWorks, and Conversational Bots. In the AI in people's process project, Rahul was responsible for developing a tool that validates the appraisals written by employees. The tool also nudges the employee to complete the appraisal comments according to the goals and objectives defined by the employee at the start of the quarter. He used Python, Tensorflow, and Transformers for this project. In ToneWorks, Rahul worked on an email assistant tool that helps users be more productive in their work. The assistant analyzes the mail and shows alternative suggestions to increase positivity in the mail. He fine-tuned language models like BERT and Open AI GPT for this project, using Python, Pytorch, IBM Watson, and Tensorflow. In the Conversational Bots project, Rahul developed conversational chatbots that help solve laptop issues before handing over to an agent. He used Python, Node Js, Azure, and LUIS for this project. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. He completed his high school education in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Narayana Junior College, Hyderabad, and New Vision The Concept School.
