Rahul Metkar is a Co-Founder at AdvaRisk, a fintech company focused on developing products for early detection of frauds in the lending space. With a relevant experience of 17.29 years, Rahul has a strong background in equity research and financial analysis. Prior to AdvaRisk, Rahul worked as Vice President - Research at MSFL, where he was part of the India Equity Research team tracking Construction & Infrastructure and Agri-Product companies. He has published equity research reports on the Road & Highway sector and company reports on various companies as part of the Construction & Infrastructure coverage. He has also published equity research reports on the Fertilizer sector and company reports on various companies as part of the Agriculture coverage. At MSFL, Rahul's job responsibilities included initiating coverage on companies after understanding the sector dynamics, meeting the company management, and stakeholders from the ecosystem, preparing the financial model, and continuously tracking the companies under coverage to analyze any events that impact them. He also prepared sector reports and presentations. Prior to MSFL, Rahul worked as a Financial Analyst at Global Investment House, where he initiated coverage on Logistics companies and prepared quarterly previews and reviews for logistics companies under coverage. He also created, updated, and maintained earning models for companies encompassing past financial performance and financial parameters for forecasting future performance. Rahul successfully outlined the industry scenario and investment ideas to captive funds of GIH group. Rahul holds a BE degree in Computer Engineering from V.J.T.I, University of Mumbai.
