Rahul Mhambrey is an experienced software professional with over 7 years of experience in building desktop and cloud applications. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Baker Hughes, where he is leading a team of 7 engineers to develop and deliver features for ingesting data from multiple on-premise sources into the enterprise cloud solution. He has also led the design and overall architecture of a scalable and fault-tolerant system that can ingest almost 500 GB of data from 200 data sources into the enterprise cloud solution, using multiple cloud technologies like AWS and Azure using asynchronous communication. Rahul is currently working on the high-level design and estimation of integrating the cloud solution with a third-party product specializing in machine learning and AI as part of a collaborative partnership. He is working with teams from the third-party product company collaborating on the APIs for the exchange of data. Prior to his current role, Rahul worked as a Software Engineer at Baker Hughes, where he led a team of 4 engineers to develop and deliver three separate features and enhancements. He also worked on Agile processes and methodologies such as conducting scrums, defining sprint goals, conducting retros, etc. Before joining Baker Hughes, Rahul worked at General Electric as an Engineer/Technologist, where he solely designed and owned the development of a feature to export the configuration hierarchy via APIs to third-party products. Rahul completed his Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology in 2013, and his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology in 2009. He also completed his High School from Wilson College in 2006 and his SSC from St Sebastian Goan High School in 1994.
