Rahul Modi is a Research Software Engineer at the Center for Development of Telematics (C-DoT), with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Durgapur. He has 4.35 years of experience in the field of software development and engineering. At C-DoT, Rahul has developed Graphic User Interfaces and backend database management for NOC features like Backup/Restoration and Remote Software Installation in MAX-NG. He has also optimized the Remote Software Installation backend process handling in NOC on different MAXNG Nodes, and developed Service Provisioning System (SPS) and Subscriber Activation Module (SAM) in 4G LTE solution. Rahul has implemented Backup & Restoration facility in CDOT's 4G LTE solution and developed multiple interfaces in CDOT's Central Release Server to be used with in-house groups. Prior to C-DoT, Rahul worked as an Administrative Manager at Bihari More Education Project and as a Software Intern at MAQ Software. At MAQ Software, he developed an Excel VBA Macro Button and a C# tool to dynamically open a password-protected Excel sheet, import the password-protected VBA code, run the imported VBA code to paste the required data in the form of Pivot Table, and export the data from Pivot Table to a SQL Database via C# data table. Rahul's technical skills include Research Scientist, Software Engineer, Backend, and SQL. He is a quick learner and has a strong ability to solve complex problems.
