Rahul Nahata is a Senior Engineer at Klarna with a dual degree in Computer Science and Computational Natural Science from IIIT-H in 2020. With 2.70 years of relevant experience, he possesses a diverse skill set in Python, AWS, C, Data Engineering, Data Scientist, test, Snowflake, n-grams, ML, SQL, Corpus, NLP, qa, Docker, Research Scientist, and Mobile. In his current role at Klarna, Rahul is responsible for Data Science Tooling, where he has been instrumental in developing and implementing various data science tools and technologies. Prior to Klarna, he worked as a Senior Associate at Capital One, where he built a holistic monitoring framework for all applications that fall under scope for cyber threat exposure. He was also responsible for creating architecture design patterns for consuming functional / cyber risk alerts from multiple applications, cloud platforms, etc. which feed into learning models for correlation-based anomaly detections. Rahul was also responsible for planning project roadmap and delivery timelines as a lead for the project. He has also worked on the expansion of behavioral anomaly detection models to cover risks for traditional DBs on AWS RDS, API Usage monitoring. Rahul's past experience also includes working as a Data Engineering Intern at Capital One, where he worked on automated unit test generation using a Genetic Algorithm-based evolutionary approach for optimizations. He also worked on unsupervised clustering, n-gram character models, to build a spell checker, abbreviation expansion tool for pre-processing of a noisy text corpus. Rahul's education includes an Integrated Masters in Computer Science and Computational Natural Science from IIIT-H, where he graduated in 2020. He also completed his high school education from Sanskar School in 2013.
