Rahul Nanwani is an experienced CEO and Co-Founder with a strong background in web and mobile application development. Currently serving as the Co-Founder of websonic, Rahul is dedicated to making it easier for online businesses to accelerate and secure their websites and apps with end-to-end website acceleration, optimization, and security. Despite the discontinuation of product development in Jan 2021, Rahul has been instrumental in driving the success of websonic. Previously, Rahul served as the CEO and Co-Founder of ImageKit.io, where he built the platform from the ground up with the aim of making the web and mobile applications faster by optimizing media on the fly. With ImageKit, Rahul delivered optimized media on all platforms instantly, with up to 50% page load time reduction and a faster and lighter experience for users. Rahul also played a key role in reducing IT costs and integrating SDKs for uploads and other features. Before his role at ImageKit.io, Rahul was the Lead (User Interface) at ixigo, where he led a team of 9 user interface developers responsible for ixigo's desktop and mobile website. Rahul's focus was on improving the actual and perceived performance across devices, especially on mobile, and developing a predictable, modular architecture for front-end application development to maximize reuse. Rahul also collaborated with user interface designers and product managers to map product requirements in the technical roadmap and developed APIs in NodeJS while moving towards continuous deployment on all NodeJS servers. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from iit and attended Sachdeva Public School. With over 10.87 years of relevant experience, Rahul has honed his skills in mobile, integration, web, NodeJS, CI/CD, and frontend technologies.
