Rahul Panda is a highly skilled Data Engineer with over 6 years of experience in designing Big Data solutions architecture. He is currently working at Google as a CMC for Data & Analytics in Google Cloud. Rahul's expertise includes setting up Hadoop and OLAP environments, performing data integration, and defining ETL workflows. He has developed and optimized Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Data Marts and created CI/CD pipelines, implemented Data Governance, and automated tasks. Rahul has also created Map-Reduce and Spark jobs, tuned SQL queries, and embedded different Big Data tools that help in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. He has also worked at Aptus Data Labs as a Senior Data Engineer, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining on-premise Data Warehouse with Peta-bytes of data for Financial clients. Rahul has also extensively used ETL to transfer and extract data from various sources (RDBMS, APIs, Flat files) to target data warehouse. Rahul holds a Master of Technology in Software Systems - Specialisation in Data Analytics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Science and Technology (Autonomous, NBA and NAAC accredited).
