The application is deployed as containers using Kubernetes. Rahul has also created scalable, fault-tolerant, and flexible workflows for the data collection and aggregation service which processes massive data pipelines using Apache spark and pandas. The processed data is used by multiple downstream services. Additionally, he has stabilized and improved integrations between internal Akamai products, which helped create an effective and robust ecosystem of internal tools that vastly improved user experience. Prior to Akamai Technologies, Rahul worked as a Software Engineer at McAfee, where he developed the certificate validation module for McAfee ATD using Python and OpenSSL. He also created the Syslog integration module for McAfee ATD and worked on adding new security features to ATD for getting it Common Criteria certified. Rahul has contributed to the automation of ATD's regression tests and improved coverage by 40% in 6 months.
