He has worked for top companies like IBM and Tangoe as a Data Engineer, where he was responsible for extracting data from various sources into the Hadoop platform for processing and generating reports. Currently, Rahul is working as a Senior Data Engineer for Jio Money, one of the Indian payments banks that started its operations in 2018. He is responsible for developing and maintaining the ETL pipelines for JioMoney’s users, which include recharging mobile numbers, paying utility bills, and making payments to shopkeepers using a mobile number. Rahul is also responsible for UPI payment services, merchant payment/merchant settlement/recon settlement, and all kinds of refunds (instant/normal/trusted/non-trusted).
