Rahul Paul is a Software Engineer with a passion for Machine Learning and a track record of success in developing and deploying Android and web applications. With over 4 years of relevant experience, he is currently working as an ML SDE at Media.net (Directi), where he has contributed to feature development in machine learning models to determine optimum bid amounts for continuous real-time bidding for ad slots in a low-latency pipeline. In this role, he has also worked on a machine learning system to map ad requests to appropriate bidders in order to optimize revenues from each bidder by modeling bidding preferences for each bidder. His contributions have directly influenced the net revenue generated by the company. Prior to his current role, Rahul worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung, where he enhanced the ultra-low-light solution for the next flagship and mentored college students as part of Samsung PRISM project to develop code that helps realize ML concepts and integrating solutions as part of Samsung camera. He also worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung, where he developed an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end camera pipeline and worked on the commercialization of camera features like SSM and Live Focus for Samsung phones that have collectively sold over 20M units globally. He actively contributed to night mode enhancement in S21 via neural and conventional processing units enhancement, and received organization-wide recognition in the form of Samsung Excellence Award for the same. He also acquired in-depth knowledge of image processing and image quality determination techniques and mentored interns to develop new features. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from NSIT, where he graduated in 2019. He also completed his High School education from Amity University in 2015. His technical skills include Software Engineering, ML, dotNET, product management, Android, web, mobile, and image processing.
