Rahul Rana is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in Frontend Development. He is currently working as an SDE II at Uber, Seattle, USA, where he is responsible for the Gift Cards Frontend. Prior to this, he worked with Flock (Directi) and Rivigo, where he gained significant experience in building next-generation mailing platforms and logistics solutions. Rahul is a strong believer in the importance of readable, modular code that uses appropriate technology for the problem at hand. He is passionate about solving complex problems and has won the Hack4NSIT hackathon where he built a product for college to have more interactive communication between students and teachers overnight. In his current role at Uber, Rahul is working with the Customer Obsession team in Bangalore, India, as a Frontend Engineer. He is the Frontend Lead of 3 CO Content Products and is responsible for building a generic content management platform layer on top of other Uber plugins. He is also handling surveys that have 50 million surveys per month on the web. Rahul has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Delhi, and has completed a Full Stack Web Development course from Free Code Camp. He is proficient in ReactJS, Javascript, Redux, Web, MySQL, and Mobile technologies.
