Rahul Rao is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing and maintaining software applications using various technologies such as Java, BPM, and Python. With over 4 years of experience in the industry, he has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time and within budget. He is proficient in Agile methodologies and has strong analytical skills, which enable him to solve complex problems creatively. Currently, Rahul is working as a Co-Founder at Laundry Expert, where he is responsible for overseeing the development of the company's software applications. Previously, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Dark Horse Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd, where he led development projects for clients such as ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, KPMG India Pvt. Ltd., Stemly.ai, and Tata AIG General Insurance. In his role as Module Lead for ICICI Prudential, Rahul developed an underwriting system that accelerated application processing by 5 times and built third-party integration services to communicate with other peripheral systems for underwriting decisions. At KPMG India, he worked on developing the backend services for the Integrated GST Suite to File GSTR to Indian Govt and built the API which communicates with government services to send and receive all the GST related data. As an API Engineer at Stemly.ai, he built APIs to perform CRUD operations for Organization, Workspace, and Directory and worked with the AI & ML team to build backend API for data storage and processing. At Tata AIG General Insurance, he integrated the system with Salesforce to manage the ticketing system and designed and developed the flow for 2-wheeler integration to help process 2-wheeler claims. Rahul's education includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Integral University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and he is currently pursuing a Certification in Machine Learning and Data Science from Zero to Mastery Academy, which he is expected to complete in December 2022. In addition to his technical skills, Rahul is an excellent communicator and has experience in client correspondence and project management.
