Rahul Sengupta is an experienced Staff Engineer in Firmware Engineering at Western Digital with over 10 years of experience in automation testing and developing automation frameworks for products in the storage and travel domains. He is skilled in Python, Perl, Selenium, API testing, QA automation, and quality engineering. Currently working in an Agile environment at Western Digital, Rahul is responsible for automating test cases and developing test tools to ensure the quality of the product delivered. He interacts directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and create a test strategy/test plan to carry out end-to-end testing. Prior to his current role, Rahul has worked for Amadeus Software Labs, IGATE, and Mindteck, where he was involved in automating test cases and developing automation frameworks and test tools. He has a deep understanding of the storage and travel domains, including airline revenue accounting, NAS, and SAN. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. He completed his Class 12th from D.A.V Public School, Koylanagar, Dhanbad, and his Class 10th from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dhanbad. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Rahul is passionate about scaling up to maximum possible heights by consistent strives.
