Rahul Sharma is a talented and driven Software Engineer currently working at Microsoft. With a problem-solving mindset and a data-driven approach, he is always eager to contribute to the success of any project he is involved in. Rahul is highly organized and pays close attention to detail, which has helped him excel in his role at Microsoft. Currently, Rahul is working on the Push notification service project in teams admin center at Microsoft. This project provides near real-time experience to over 250 million daily active users. He has also worked on the Teams PowerShell module, which is used by 63K tenants for configuring policies and teams settings. Prior to his current role, Rahul worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where he implemented the logic of score calculation for Apps Suggestions and improved the storage pipeline that runs in production. He also designed and implemented several services as POCs, including personalized suggestions based on data analysis of app usage, similar suggestions based on textual and categorical information of apps, and correlated suggestions to suggest based on app to app affinity. In addition to his work at Microsoft, Rahul has also worked as a Guest Lecturer at Panjab University, Chandigarh, where he conducted a session on "How to work with YOLO algorithm" under the one-month Deep learning program. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Punjab Engineering College, where he graduated in 2021. He also completed his high school education in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from Moti Ram Arya School, Chandigarh, in 2015. Rahul has a strong technical background and is proficient in several technologies, including Azure, Python, Deep Learning, SQL, DevOps, Normalization, and Backend. He is also a Research Scientist and has experience in testing and infra. With 1.78 years of relevant experience, Rahul is highly motivated to learn, grow, and excel in his career.
