Rahul Sharma is a highly experienced Lead Quality Assurance Engineer with a total of 9.5 years of experience in the field. Currently working at ayko, an E-commerce service provider with expertise in Magento and Shopify, Rahul is responsible for driving Quality Management and Quality Performance enhancing activities. He also handles much of the communication between clients and internal stakeholders and mentors the QA team on Webdriver IO. Prior to his current role, Rahul worked as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at Pristyn Care, a healthcare startup leveraging technology to facilitate a seamless surgical experience. Here, he led the Quality Assurance team to ensure better quality of products and created and updated the automation ecosystem to reduce testing effort on regression test cases. He also brought in innovative approaches to increase overall team and cross-team efficiency. Rahul's previous experience includes working at IBM in the ISL wing on its product, Fiberlink MaaS360, as a Software Engineer. Here, he was responsible for development of new features using Java2EE technologies such as Java Spring Framework, requirement and feature analysis, functional and regression testing through manual and automated methods through Selenium, performance and security testing of the application using JMeter, and deployment of code in testing environment. He also presented feature implementation to various stakeholders. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from VIT and a Bachelor of Technology from Mother's International School, Delhi. His tech stack includes QA, test, Software Engineering, Selenium, Java, and Spring. Rahul is looking for opportunities to work with growth-oriented organizations on challenging projects, specifically in product/project management roles.
