Rahul Sharma is a Software Engineer with a passion for learning and exploring new technologies. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science at the University at Buffalo and working as a Software Engineer - Frontend Intern at Tatari. Rahul's love for computer science began during his childhood when he was fascinated by a game and wanted to understand how it worked. Since then, he has developed expertise in a range of primary and secondary skills, including Node.js, C++, Javascript, React.js, Nest.js, MongoDB, SQL, Redis, Kafka, HTML5, CSS3, and more. In his current role at Tatari, Rahul has incorporated webpack optimizations to reduce the First Contentful Paint (FCP) value by 80%, implemented route-based code-splitting, and enabled hot-module-reloading using react-refresh and webpack-hot-middleware. He has also worked on the Multi Week Dashboard and recommissioned Version Notifier using Webpack to notify new updates to users. Prior to Tatari, Rahul worked as a Software Engineer at Squareboat, where he developed consumable APIs using Nest.js and reusable web components/user dashboards in React and Next JS frameworks. He also mentored the Frontend Team on efficient use of React.js to create scalable and reusable components. At Fundwave, he revamped the existing transaction flow and developed an investment summary dashboard to track and visualize investments. Rahul's education background includes a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology and he is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science at the University at Buffalo.
