Rahul Sindhu is a highly skilled Director of Technology with over 18 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently working at Publicis Sapient, where he manages multiple agile teams with 25+ engineers and QA for automation and manual testing for mobile applications. Rahul is an expert in building next-generation cloud-based (SAAS) mobile-first omni-channel retail RFID and IoT-based platforms. He has mentored mobile and IoT (Android and iOS) software technology teams for the next generation SAAS-based omni-channel and enabled retail enterprise RFID mobile-first inventory solutions. Rahul has meticulously defined and managed engineering and R&D road maps, built layered designs to enable business logic semantics to be the same for both iOS and Android native SDK layers, and designed scalable architecture (SAAS) on AZURE (IAAS) using Dockers for mobile-first clients with private and public cloud deployments. In his past roles, Rahul was the Director of Engineering at Oatsystems, a division of Checkpoint Systems, where he built next-generation cloud-based (SAAS) mobile-first omni-channel retail RFID and IoT-based platforms. He has also co-founded Kloseby, where he managed and mentored a team of 15+ engineers, QA, UX, marketing, and sales, including consultants. Rahul developed India's first proximity platform (HW + SW) as SAAS with real-time insights for businesses (banks, restaurants, malls, stores, and retailers) to monetize, track footfalls, feedback, and loyalty for better customer satisfaction and improve business. Rahul has a degree in MCS from Modern College Shivaji Nagar, Pune, and a degree in BCS from Wadia College, Pune, both in computer science.
