Rahul Singh is a skilled JRF at MNIT Jaipur, currently working on an NDMA-sponsored research project. With over 2 years of relevant experience, he has expertise in surveying and calculating seismic risk for 11 Indian cities using GPS devices and ArcGIS Pro software. He has also trained and assisted DWDSC department engineers in watershed development through ArcGIS software. Rahul has a keen interest in GIS applications, GPS/GNSS devices, disaster assessment and mitigation, seismic risk assessment, seismic design, and water resource engineering. He has worked on several projects related to building typologies, risk calculation, and image segmentation. In his current role, Rahul is involved in the development of EDRI-2 for 60 Indian cities. He has surveyed Indian cities for data collection of building typologies with GPS devices and calculated the risk using image segmentation. Prior to his current role, Rahul worked as a JRF (Ad Hoc) at MNIT Jaipur, where he was responsible for surveying cities using GPS devices for data collection of building typology, risk calculation, image segmentation, and watershed development. He also worked as a Junior Engineer (QA/QC) at Premdeep Developers and Builders Private Limited. Rahul holds a Master of Technology in Disaster Assessment and Mitigation (Civil engineering) from Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. He also has a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Dr M G R Educational and Research Institute and a Master Diploma in Civil CAD from Diagonal CADD. Rahul's tech stack includes image segmentation, research scientist, and QA. With his expertise in GIS and disaster assessment, Rahul is a valuable asset to any team in the field of civil engineering and disaster management.
