Rahul Sood is a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect with expertise in AWS and Azure. He is also a Python Full Stack and Javascript Full Stack developer with experience in RDBMS and NoSQL databases. With almost 19 years of relevant experience, Rahul has worked as an AI/ML & Software Systems Architect, specializing in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning / Transfer Learning, and Classical Machine Learning. In terms of technical skills, Rahul is proficient in Python, PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow, OpenCV, sklearn, NLTK, Gensim, Django, Flask, DRF, MySQL, Sqlite3, MongoDB, Node, Express, React, Javascript, MySQL, RDS, AWS, and Azure. He has experience in DB Architecture and delivering high-performance DB solutions. Currently, Rahul works at Kritikal Solutions as an AI/ML/Software Systems Architect. His responsibilities include creating RFPs to support Pre-sales Team, setting up AWS ELB Load Balancer for custom OCR API with Tesseract, stabilizing a MERL project for EdTech unicorn, and leading a successful transition as an Architect + Scrum master + Project Manager. He has also worked with a much leaner and more cost-effective team by owning PM and React/Laravel Lead responsibilities. In his past roles, Rahul worked at Capgemini as a Manager, where he created models for grading of vehicles based on external damage for an Auto Auctions client, trained Computer Vision models using Azure Custom Vision AI Service, and authored a blog titled “Recommender Systems using Apriori”. He also worked at British Telecom as an Oracle Architect and Senior Developer, where he was responsible for all major DB activities including optimization, development, version control, weekend deployments, and mentoring. Rahul completed his B.Tech in Electronics from IIT in 2002.
