Rahul is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in iOS development. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Application and has worked with various global brands like Adobe Systems, IBM, Extramarks Education, and Zomato in various work profiles in the last 4 years. Rahul has been working in the iOS development profile since January 2016 and has extensive experience in developing consumer app features, including Zomaland, Zomato Pay, Zomato Gold Membership cancellation flows, and in-app filters. Apart from his work, Rahul is passionate about traveling and is concerned about decreasing green cover on our planet earth and plastic pollution in the oceans. He tries to contribute to the cause by participating in plantation drives and reducing plastic usage and spreading awareness about the same. Rahul is currently working as a Product Owner in a private company, where he is working towards developing new products and enhancing the existing ones. He has previously worked as a Software Development Engineer II (iOS) at Zomato and as a Senior Software Engineer (iOS) at Extramarks Education. At Extramarks, Rahul was involved in the development of four iOS products, including the Learning app, NEET, IIT JEE Test Prep, and Total Learning by Extramarks. He was responsible for making enhancements in already available functionalities in Objective C and creating new modules in Swift. Rahul has also accomplished several major tasks, including adding landscape orientation support on iPads for the entire Learning App, full implementation of socket feature in Challenge Friends Game Module for Learning App, and redesigning and implementing the whole login flow module in swift language for The learning App, CA-foundation, South Africa App, and Test Prep app. Rahul is proficient in iOS, test, Swift, Objective-C, and has a strong technical background.
