Rahul Venugopal is a passionate and value-driven leader with 10 years of experience in strategic alliances, program management, acquisition, product management, and marketing. He has a proven track record of translating complex customer and market needs into requirements to deliver products and collaborations that provide competitive differentiation. Currently, Rahul is the Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances at Simplilearn, where he is responsible for collaborating with premier global universities and industry partners to drive a multi-million dollar initiative for the company. Prior to this, he was a Partner at KartonBox, where he was responsible for data analytics, RoI optimization, digital strategy, and campaign management across various digital channels for all clients. Rahul has held multiple positions across various successful startups such as Vizury (now Lemnisk), Dailyhunt (formerly Newshunt), Institute of Product Leadership, and Symantec. He has played a stellar role in building alliances with premier global and Indian universities and ensuring end-to-end program management, acquisition, and program launch. He has also led strategic and growth alliances by partnering with industry partners such as Facebook, Microsoft, Harvard Business Publishing (HBSP), KPMG, BCG, HubSpot, and Hootsuite. Rahul's key accomplishments include growing the category revenue by 80% and being awarded the Promising Star Award at Simplilearn, growing the geo revenue by 2.5x volume in a span of 9 months in Vizury, and conducting India's biggest survey on demonetization for the PMO by initiating a whole new process of conducting polls on the Dailyhunt app. Rahul's specialties include strategic partnerships, global alliances, business development, scaling revenue, product vision and strategy, product roadmaps, go-to-market strategy, stakeholder management, market and competitor research, revenue management, financial modeling, and forecasting.
