Rahul Verma is a driven PGDM student at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He is passionate about understanding the factors that limit human choices and is committed to empowering people to make their own destiny. Rahul believes that life is the sum total of the choices we make, and he chooses to learn every day from people, situations, observations, nature, plants, and animals. He is determined to become a leader of the new world of human choices. Currently, Rahul is working as a Summer Intern at Accenture, where he has gained rich on-site experience in dealing with government officials at the helm of affairs. He has been the interface between the project manager and state officials to address project deliverables, scope, and client's concerns. Rahul has identified bottlenecks in the service delivery process of the departments aimed at improving their efficiency. He has maintained MOM's and task delegation reports for every meeting with state officials and has been a single point of contact for coordination of survey efforts spread across five districts in the state. Rahul has liaised with supervisors and state officials to get approval for the project and has also coordinated and monitored the project progress with the survey agency. He has compiled a report on occupational analysis of various job roles in the Indian automotive sector and conducted secondary research to compile the services provided by various departments in the state. In the past, Rahul has worked with NTPC as an Executive Engineer, where he was associated with the Field Quality Assurance department. He monitored and controlled the unit parameters for safe operation of power plants and prioritized and planned maintenance activities based on real-time inputs so that equipment's life may be prolonged. He has also worked with the Indian Institute of Management as a PGDM student, where he was selected as the class representative among 65 students for Strategic Business Negotiation. Rahul coordinated the selling of paintings by the students as a deliverable for the SBN course and collected Rs. 53832 from the students, which were handed over to the instructor for Uttarakhand relief operations. Rahul has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from IIM Lucknow, where he studied Strategy, Finance, and Marketing. He also has a Dual Degree (BTech+MTech) in Mechanical Engineering from IIT and an Intermediate ISC board degree from Seth M R Jaipuria School. Rahul is a Research Scientist with a strong background in infra and QA and has 13.44 years of relevant experience.
